But I also know how hard change is, especially when you don't know what to expect every day. I think it'll probably all come back fairly easily once you get in a classroom again, but it's always those days leading up to something new that are the most stressful. :)

I so hope that this works out for you and that it'll be everything you guys need it to be. I wish I could take you to lunch to celebrate your last couple of days of 'staying home', but between finances and a horribly sore throat today and Becca's birthday tomorrow I don't know if that could happen. Do you want to maybe go out tomorrow night after kids are in bed? I could at least treat for dessert! :)Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03806252705199445407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2249138150937929912.post-73009539324478583742011-01-20T12:11:06.553-08:002011-01-20T12:11:06.553-08:00You have good instincts - and you have never been ...You have good instincts - and you have never been away from education. You teach your own children every day. And you have taught them lessons in music during your 5 year absence from formal classrooms. Teaching is done everywhere - so don't be worried that you have lost your touch. You have a great opportunity to test the waters here while earning some income. If you discover that you hate it - you are not trapped in a job - you can use the experience to work towards something different eventually. If you realize that you really would like to do more, you are in the best position to learn about those new openings.

I don't blame you for being scared. But I know you have no reason to stay that way once you are back out there. Have fun!The Bumbleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08334162339045336577noreply@blogger.com
